Hi Tyler, Thanks for sharing your "font families" exercise via a screencast this week! I'm always intrigued by what my students have to say in regards to this exercise. I think this would be a GREAT exercise to get students at the middle and high school levels to think about the design aspect of presentations (when creating PowerPoints and whatnot), don't you think? It's a comfortable and fun way to ease them into the artistic aspect of sharing their work with a public audience. Nice job! Erica
I did this exercise too and I really enjoyed it. I feel that you did a good job representing each word choice and font selection. This would be a great exercise to do during a poetry unit in an LA or English class. I also thought it was a good idea to share your experience via a screencast. I'm an auditory and visual learner so I really appreciated it.
